Getting to know 2019 F Tylor Miller
2019 forward Tylor Miller exploded onto the scene this past Saturday at Top Rank Showcase Orlando.
The 6’4″, 160-pound Santaluces forward showed off his pure athleticism, range and overall effort.
He says his varsity season taught him a lot about the game.
“I learned that you’re not always going to be the best, you’re not always gonna be the biggest but you have to have the mindset of the best,” Miller told Prep Hoops Florida. “I also learned that I need to work on making better decisions in game situations as in always looking for the better shot when you have an open look.”
Miller has big plans for the summer while playing for the Lake Worth Pride, his AAU team for the past six years.
“I just want to work hard and be better than I was the day before,” he said.
He pointed to his shooting and physicality when driving to the basket as his biggest strengths. He’s aiming to improve on his decision making around the basket.
No offers or interest have come yet for Miller, but he’s shown that pure athleticism and commitment certainly helps in the long haul. He’s coming up fast and if he can continue to get stronger and hit the weight room, he’s going to be a 2019 wing that will cause problems offensively.
