“(I’m a) passer,” Smith said. “I like to make my players better – and I score when I have to.”
Since Smith transferred from Seneca, he hasn’t been able to play this season.
“I didn’t play this season due to injury and transfer because I moved,” Smith stated.
In the classroom at the high school, Smith says he is a hard worker.
“I’m a good student,” Smith added. “I have good grades; I have A’s and B’s and one C.”
Although he hasn’t received any direct offers or been shown any interest yet, Smith says that college coaches and programs should start to reach out because his game is different from others.
“This year (in the) AAU season and next year (in high school), they (coaches) will like my game,” Smith noted. “I’m fast, I can handle the ball and I like to pull up mid-range.”
