And he could see some changes with his recruitment soon, too.
“I used to be a lot shorter and my arms definitely got longer, so I can get a lot more rebounds and play a lot better defense because I can reach out a little more,” said Bor Khat. “And I’m able to shoot over people a lot easier and it gives be a big advantage.”
The Kingdom Hoops product is enjoying a nice season while helping his Eagles, and mentioned what he’s been excelling at in the early going.
“I specialize in shooting and I have a really good point guard, Christian Kyles, who likes to penetrate a hit and hit me for open shots and stuff like that,” said Bor Khat.
“I need to improve on attacking more. I have a really good point guard so I don’t have to focus on that as much. But next year I’ll have to be that guy, and I’m starting to work on that right now,”
So far, his recruitment has been minimal. But he and his coach would like for him to focus on his junior season, and worry about the recruitment later on.
“I get a few calls and stuff and a few letters, but my coach likes to keep that stuff away from us and he doesn’t show us until later on,” said Bor Khat.
“There’s just a couple small schools, I think like Briar Cliff and stuff like that.”
He added: “I hope I just continue to grow and get faster and jump higher, and as my abilities grow more doors will open for me.”
