“(I’m a) great shooter,” Stotts said. “I can score the ball very well. I can’t create my own shot, draw attention with defenders and make my players better. (I) can score anywhere on the floor.”
Stotts played a solid role in the Indians’ success last season. The athlete filled Russell County High School’s stat sheet in each game and now with a new team, Stotts says that he and his ACHS club have gotten off to a good start this year.
“This season is going great, Stotts stated. “I’ve been playing very well; shooting and scoring the ball well. Getting my players involved so they can get into the game. (The) team is performing well; only thing that’s lacking is defense. If we get good at that we will be very good come February and March. We are now 7-0 (on the season).”
In the classroom at the high school, Stotts says he is a hard worker.
“I’m a good student,” Stotts noted. “I have a 3.8 GPA.”
The versatile guard currently holds four scholarship offers from colleges in Kentucky Wesleyan, Lindsey Wilson, Cumberlands and Campbellsville. Along with those offers, he says he has been shown interest from multiple programs, and that more coaches should start to reach out because he always gives his all.
