“(I’m a) post player, a decent scorer and a defender,” Wurtz said.
Wurtz says he and his teammates started the season a little shaky, but are now finding their rhythm.
“My team is 5-4 (overall),” Wurtz stated. “(I am) averaging 8 points and 5-to-7 rebounds (per game).”
In the classroom at the high school, Wurtz says he is a hard worker.
(I) work hard,” Wurtz noted. “(I had a) 3.8 GPA as of end of junior year.”
Although he hasn’t received any direct offers yet, Wurtz has been shown interest from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Illinois Institute of Technology, and says that more college coaches and programs should start to reach out because he gives his all.
“I can stretch the floor and shoot a three-pointer with a little bit of space and good percentages or go in the post and get buckets,” Wurtz added.
