The Palmetto Ridge junior showed off his ability to shoot in a 62-53 victory over Estero last Friday night at the Bear Bash.
Rascher scored a team-best 19 points, adding shots from beyond the arc at a high clip. After being a JV starter a year ago, the junior has taken the step forward on the varsity squad this season.
Palmetto Ridge sits at 9-4 currently and Class 7A-District 9, the Bears should be highly competitive against district rivals Naples, Barron Collier and Golden Gate.
Rascher isn’t someone who will attack often at his 6’1″, 170-pound frame, but he’ll make it happen from outside.
He’s smooth when he finds an opening. As a spot shooter, Rascher is someone who needs to be taken seriously. Look for him to continue his impressive shooting here this season.
