Hoke County Senior 6’ Guard Da’Coda Cummings– Da’coda has been off to a very impressive start this season for the Bucks, he’s averaging about 24 Points a game and is causing an absolute headache for defenders. He can score the ball with ease but also understands how to run a team so college coaches will be able to play him at the PG or SG spot, still unsigned.
Overhills HS Senior Guard Josh Richmond– Josh is off to a very good start for Overhills, in just 6 games he is already averaging over 23 Points a game, which has included a 30+ point performance as well. He has teamed up in the back court with high flying 2018 Guard Latrell Lloyd so Overhills should not only be competitive but fun to watch.
Durham Academy Senior Guard Jorden Davis- It surprised a lot of people to see a player the caliber of Jorden’s to commit to a D3 school so early on but to me it was not too much of a shocker. He’s definitely a different type of young man when it comes to keeping education first and basketball second, however with the way he’s been playing don’t be surprised to see some D2’s throw him an offer before he signs to go D3. He is a player that not too many want to matchup with at this point, he scores with ease and is one of the top shooters around, he’s currently averaging 22 Points per game.
Northside HS Senior Guard Zach Hobbs– If you have been around ENC basketball at for the past few years then you already know what this young man brings to the table, he is a knock down shooter, athletic player that can defend. It’s definitely not a surprise to see him averaging 20 PPG for his team so far this season. In fact we expect the number to continue to climb as the year goes on, he loves to compete and doesn’t back down from challenges, his recruitment has been very quiet so far but that should change very soon.
