The 6’7″, 235-pound Sickles starter had 20 points in his preseason debut on Thursday night in a 60-58 loss to Calvary Christian.
Workman attacked the paint all night long and benefited from the nifty passing from senior guard Marcus Cohen. He is a key part of what the Gryphons do on both sides of the ball.
Currently, Workman holds one offer from Georgia Southern. He’s also generated interest from South Carolina, South Florida and Central Florida.
This is a humble kid, who doesn’t slow down during games. Even at his frame, you’d think he’d get tired, but he is a finesse and powerful player. Workman certainly helped his progress by playing with E1T1 Elite the past couple of summers.
He is on the rise. Improving his jumper will be important, but as long as he continues to attack he’ll be a threat to score 15-20 points a night. Workman is a very impressive 2018 prospect.
