On Monday night, the 6’0″, 160-pounder showed quite a bit of his game adding 15 points, four assists and two steals in a 83-43 win over Hudson in Oldsmar Christian’s season opener.
Shakoor has tremendous ball skills and handles. He dished out crisp passes time and time again. His maneuvering inside the paint on layups and floaters is underrated.
He may be viewed as undersized, but Shakoor makes the most of his arm length as a shooter and passer.
The junior guard earned his first Division-I offer from Cleveland State earlier this month. Shakoor benefits from playing alongside two very crafty junior starters in Elijah Weaver and D.J. Mitchell.
Look for Shakoor to continue to make plays regardless of his teammates. He is a very talented backcourt player.
