However on Tuesday night his game spoke very loudly, he caught fire and finished with 31 points knocking 6 treys to help Village Christian beat Trinity Christian. After the game we got the opportunity to catch up with Jarvez for a quick interview, as stated earlier he’s a quiet young man but very respectful and will be one that colleges will want to check out.
Q: So, big time game for you tonight, you finished with 31 Points, had about 5 or 6 treys, coming into this game tonight was it a highlighted game for you and the team or just a normal game?
Jarvez: It was a highlighted game for us, I really just wanted to win this game because they are really hyped up team and I just wanted to prove myself and kind’ve show what I can do.
Q: Anything differently today? Or was it just a regular day for you?
Jarvez: Just a regular routine, just started feeling it.
Q: Recruitment Wise, Any interest? Or has it been quiet so far
Jarvez: It’s been really quiet, I haven’t had any schools talking to me really
Q: You played with Fayetteville Elite and Team Wall this summer right?
Jarvez: Yea I played with Team Wall last summer and during April then I left and played for Fayetteville Elite in the July Live period
Q: What do you feel you’ve been doing, over the summer break and off time to enhance your game, it seems like this year you’re stronger and quicker?
Jarvez: I work with a trainer and we just focus on getting stronger and faster so I can be able to finish better and play better defense, that’s basically it.
Q: You Guys are the defending champs, but do you all feel like there is something to prove since other teams in the county are getting, more media attention compared to you guys?
Jarvez: Yes, we are trying to be back to back champs, and we really don’t get a lot of love around the city or state, nobody thinks we are really that good, Trinity, Northwood and those were hyped up all offseason and so we are just using this season to prove ourselves
