Jovan Dilworth, Tyrick Brascom, Larry Daniels Jr. and Dylan Wilson are a group of rising juniors that are going to be on the court a ton this season.
Daniels Jr. is a 6’1″ guard who has grown leaps and bounds this summer not only in height, but in overall game.
At the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo last month, he played sound ball during scrimmage time and took instructions well during the training sessions.
Energy is on Daniels’ side. He’s packed with speed and explodes off the ball often. He has the size to be able to play both guard spots and move over to the wing if Tampa Bay Tech chose to go to a smaller lineup. He has plenty of upside.
I like Daniels’ game and if he can continue to make plays like he did at the expo, then there’s no reason why he can’t help the Titans be even better this season. Coming off a 14-9 record and a Class 7A region quarterfinal appearance, Daniels is part of a sound group over at Tampa Bay Tech.
