The 6’6″ big man is lengthy as they come. He gets after the ball on both sides of the court and has an endless work ethic that is noticeable. Caplette participated in the Prep Hoops Florida Top 250 Expo last month and really stuck out to me.
He has a knack of connecting on long jumpers and his vision to the whole is impressive. Playing for a Cougars team that has gone 38-12 in their first two seasons under head coach Kiryn Williams, you can bet Caplette will play a big role this season as a senior.
At the next level, Caplette projects as a nice wing or power forward. He is a big 6’6” and with that, he adds a repertoire from inside and outside shooting wise. He has a quiet confidence about himself and there is very little not to like about his game. This is a 2017 prospect that should earn more recognition as the season progresses.
