The 6’0″, 170-pound guard averaged 7.0 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 steals as the Terriers went 16-11 overall before making it to the Class 6A region final losing to Deltona 42-40. Entering his third year as a starter, Stallworth is looking forward to his senior season.
“This past season gave our team confidence. We didn’t know how good we were coming into the year. But I was forced to grow up and be a leader,” Stallworth told Prep Hoops Florida. “I started both my sophomore and junior year and we really didn’t have any older guys on the team, so I was probably the guy with the most experience on the team.”
How would he break down his own game?
“I would describe my game as a confident guard who can get to the rim,” he said. “My first step is pretty quick and I’ve been working most on different finishing moves and my outside shot.”
In terms of AAU ball, Stallworth played for the Florida Flight Elite before switching over to the Q6 All-Stars in the live period.
During the off-season, he trains with Akii Dean the owner and founder of Process Basketball.
“Training with him [Dean] has been great,” Stallworth said. “I’ve gotten so much better and have been able to quickly transfer the things we work on to game situations. He helps with not only the skills but shows you why a move works and when to use it.”
Currently, he holds interest from Emerson, South, Johns Hopkins, St. Lawrence and Chicago. He has a 3.6 unweighted/6.1 weighted GPA.
Stallworth is one of those players that does all the quiet things on the court. He dishes out pretty passes to his teammates and simply takes command of an offense. He has a bright future and if he can continue to mature as an attacker and an outside shooter more teams will be calling for his services at the next level.
