The guy has been camping, welcoming all challenges for years and college coaches are starting to notice.
“He got an offer from Navy and Toledo,” said Lexington Catholic teammate and friend Max Sparkman.
In June, Price camped with Northern Kentucky, Toledo, and Navy. His first two D1 offers emanated from those displays.
“I talk to Eastern Kentucky,” said Price. “Eastern Kentucky called me before July and the assistant coach called me and asked for my schedule. We just talked about basketball.”
EKU swindled Peyton Broughton out of North Laurel High School earlier this week. Could they add another nearby scorer in Price?
In August, Price has already camped with UNC-Asheville and Charleston.
“They are a D2 power school,” said Price of Charleston. “I know that. They are in a great conference. They are always in the running to win the D2 National Championship.”
What kind of skills does Price give his teams?
“TC is a two-guard,” said Sparkman. “He has a nice jump shot. He attacks the rim a lot. He is a lot bigger than guards who guard him. He has a good pull-up. I played with TC since we were freshman.”
