Now, Tremain Lawrence a 6-foot-6 rising senior wing at Quality Education Academy could be the next on his way to high level college basketball. He is a strong-bodied wing that can attack the basket and get after it. He has not been offered yet but has heard from a handful of household names including Virginia Tech. “My second live period is going good, but I haven’t got offered yet but schools are showing interest in me.”
Lawrence split his grassroots career time playing with Team Charlotte who is sponsored and coached by former North Carolina Tar Heel star and NBA player Jeff McInnis on the Under Armour circuit and NC Juice All-Stars playing in the 17u Silver Adidas Gauntlet Circuit along with Washington commit Blake Harris and Winston-Salem State commit Robert Colon. He is coached by James Black
Isaac Pitts, his head coach at Quality Education Academy had this to say about Tremain, “He is a great kid, great student, hardworking kid with a tremendous upside. We’re looking forward to this young man having a big time comeback year after the ACL surgery. He’s a explosive athlete with a jumpshot. Must improve ball handling.”
