Keyshaun Langley is a 6’0, 2019 point guard who helped lead the Cowboys to a 27-3 record and the fourth round of the NCHSAA playoffs before losing 68-65 to eventual 4-A champion Charlotte Catholic as he scored 21 points in the loss.
He is a true PG who can run the floor and has great court vision. He is great at attacking the basket and scoring in transition. He has a high basketball IQ and is a great on-ball defender. Blessed with a great change of pace and explosiveness making it hard for anyone to guard the floor-leader. He has an incredible knack for finding the right teammate and getting into the lane for the pull-up or the assist.
Both younger Langley’s play for their dad Keyford Langley with Team CP3 of the Nike EYBL circuit. Keyshaun averaged almost 11 points per game for the talented travel team. He was named to the NCBCAA All-District 7 team after a great freshman season.
Virginia Tech and Maryland (not confirmed) have already offered the rising sophomore prospect and is on most high-major recruiting boards. NC State, VCU and Tennessee have shown interest lately. He and his twin brother Kobe have taken unofficial visits to some of the top programs in the country.
With older brother Kameron returning next season as a senior and twin brother Kobe by his side, Keyshaun and SW Guilford HS will try and better their 27-3 record (9-1 in conference) next season.
