Little had this to say about his sophomore season. He averaged 17.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.0 assists per game.
“Last season went pretty well. We were the first team in school history to ever win a district title so that’s very special to me. I had a great season overall. I had a lot of ups and downs but I still did great. The toughest part was having to play with double-teams, box and 1’s. A lot of defenses were targeted on me. I was a captain so I was considered one of the older guys and a lot of people learned and looked up to me.
The Knights return three starters with a few players that are coming up from JV that Little calls amazing. He says the team is packed with size which will help him continue to play on the perimeter.
How would he describe his own game?
“I’m a versatile player. I do pretty much everything. I rebound well, defend at a high level, make athletic plays, shoot the three and mid-range at a high clip. I’m a low post scorer, high post scorer whatever I can do to help my team win, I’ll do it and be unselfish. Mainly I just want to keep working on my jump shot and ball handling.”
Little plays AAU ball for Showtime Hoops.
“Although we haven’t been winning much I still love my team. They’ve helped me in so many ways imaginable to get ready for the next level which is the most important thing.”
He has earned 11 offers already from Florida, Florida State, Miami, USC, Louisville, Georgia, UCF, FGCU, North Florida, Stetson and George Washington. Little also has interest from a good amount of schools including North Carolina, Duke, UCLA, Ohio State, California, Kansas, Virginia, Arizona, Maryland and Alabama.
