The 2017 6’2 guard showcased his ultra athleticism and explosiveness last weekend at the Each 1 Teach 1 Invitational. He unloaded a posterizing slam and then followed it up with a 1-hand put back dunk that sent a guy to the floor. Both the dunks went viral. It was as though he arrived.
Luke averaged a team-high 14 points, five rebounds, three assist and two steals a game this season in leading the Panthers to the playoffs. He’ll also be showing his talents on the gridiron this upcoming year.
He’s a quick leaping high riser. He displays a great sense of confidence. He’s also a pesky defender who plays passing lanes well. Luke can stay in front of quick guards and finds ways to force turnovers.
We see him as a D1 prospect who will play shooting guard.
Luke has zero offers or interest from schools. But expect that to change shortly.
“I’m not worried about it,” Luke said. “ I know my time is coming. I compare myself to Andrew Wiggins. I’m explosive as can be. And I can get to the rim at will.”
Luke has been grinding for that first offer.
“I’m aiming to improve my jump shot and my defense,” Luke said. I improve on my quickness, dribbling drills, cone drills and just basic stuff everyday.”
Luke will be running with Ball4Lyfe on the AAU Circuit.
Once Luke nabs that first offer, expect more to follow.
