The 6’4, 185-pound wing was one of the premiere players last week at the Disney Easter Classic. He showcased his fiery competitiveness big-play ability. Price possesses an ideal long frame. He utilizes his strength and body control to finish through contact. He’s a knockdown shooter, explosive finisher, and aggressive slasher. He gets to his spots and finds different ways to score. Price has slick handles and wants the ball in his hands late in games.
Price averaged an impressive 20 points, and ten rebounds a game this season. He showed his leadership in guiding the Pirates to the region semifinals for the first time 2001.
Price holds only one offer from Texas Southern. He’s drawing interest from Virginia Tech, Florida Gulf Coast, FIU, FAU and Davidson.
But the underrated Price has one goal on the mind.
“I just want a chance to play somewhere,” Price said.
Price is aiming to become a more complete player.
“I’m working on everything,” Price said. “I’m trying to get faster, stronger, more agile and just a better all-around player.”
Dayne Maasdorp, his coach since sixth grade, described Price’s game.
“Price had to play the five on defense and still took them far,” Maasdorp said. “He’s a true scoring guard that can flat out score the ball. He’s always led me in scoring and an incredible athlete. But his best attribute is that he always wants the ball in crunch time.”
Price will be running with Impact Elite on the AAU Circuit and should make his presence felt.
