The 6’0 knockdown shooter shot a 60 percent clip from beyond the arc while averaging an impressive 15 points, five assists, and three steals a game. His efforts helped E1T1 reach the semifinals. And he earned our Player Of The Week honors.
He’s a tough and scrappy guard. He can shoot the lights out and bury the clutch basket. He’s also an excellent on-ball defender and a physical guard. Stewart exudes confidence and one of those guys you just want on your team. He averaged 15 points, six assists and four steals a game in helping Sagemont reach the 3A Region semifinals.
Stewart holds no offers. But he’s drawing interest from UCF, FIU, and USF.
He highlighted what he’s working on this summer.
“I’m aiming to improve my lateral quickness defensively,” Stewart said. “I also want to become more explosive and get stronger.”
Stewart has one goal in mind for the immediate future.
“I’m hungry for that first offer,” Stewart said.
With the way he’s playing, that will happen very soon.
