Trey Tucker, 6′ PG, Greene County
Cameron Cramer, 5’9 PG, Des Moines East
Trevor Miller, 6’5 F, Urbandale
Ethan Lewis, 6′ G, Boone
Lane Josh, 6’3 F, Boone
Brayden Washington, 6’3 G, Urbandale
Kyle Nevitt, 6’4 SF, Perry
Janier Puente, 6’4 C, Perry
Notes
Perry duo Kyle Nevitt and Janier Puente provide a nice one-two punch for this talented ‘Sharks squad. And Trey Tucker is a phenomenal addition at the point guard spot. He’s a top-notch scorer who can get buckets in a hurry. Brayden Washington had a nice summer last season, but couldn’t capitalize during the regular season, playing in only 10 games for the J-Hawks. This team has a little bit of everything, and if the chemistry is there, it could win a lot of games this spring and summer. We’ll be checking them out this weekend in Des Moines at Midwest Live!

Rhett Darland, 6’2 G, Clarion-Goldfield
Noah Snedden, 6’3 G, Ogden
Jarod Nichols, 6’3 F, Colfax-Mingo
Nathan Nelson, 6’3 G, Waukee
Elijah Sperfslage, 6’1 G, PCM
Brady Kluender, 6′ G, Spencer
Trevor Van Pelt, 6’1 G, Boone
Notes: Nathan Nelson and Rhett Darland will anchor this seven man team. Nelson is a former Martin Brothers guard who made the switch over to the Cornsharls late last summer. Darland is a good-sized sharpshooter who could use this offseason to establish himself as one of the state’s elite outside threats. Brady Kluender is nice guard who will handle point guard duties, he’s the younger brother of 2016 standout Jake Kluender. This team does lack in depth and size, and with only seven guys on the roster it still has some spots open; interested?

Roster
Ben Heeren, 6’2 F, Ogden
Trey Hinote, 6’1 G, Greene County
Mason Storey, 5’11 G, Bondurant-Farrar
Dawson Madren, 5’10 G, Earlham
Jared Birks, 6’4 F, South Central Calhoun
Derek Rinehart, 5’11 G, Boone
Parker Kliegl, 6’5 F, Earlham
Ryan Bellcock, 6’2 F, East Sac County
Trenton Williamson, 6’2 G, Earlham
Justin Aspengren, 6’2 F, Boone
Notes: Trenton Williamson is one of the state’s best 2019 prospects, he’s our 18th ranked in the class and he’ll be the main play-maker on this team. Jared Birks was a major producer with the South Central Calhoun varsity last season, averaging 6.0 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. We’re looking forward to getting a glimpse at Trey Hinote, he was Greene County’s second leading scorer last as a freshman. Also Ben Hereen was a key player with Ogden’s varsity during his freshman season. There’s a lot to be excited about on this ‘Sharks roster.
