The 2017 combo guard is ahead of the pack with his 6’6 ideal long frame and wowing 4.47 GPA. He plays under control and has a scorer’s mindset. He owns a tight handle and can create space for his knockdown jumper. Lambright is a menace in transition and a great distributor on drives. He’s exceptional at using his strong build to protect the ball while he bruises to the rim. He also has good body control and an elite mid-range shot.
Lambright averaged 18 points and three assists a game this season. He considers himself a well-rounded player.
“I’m a guy who can give you whatever you need,” Lambright said, “If you need a bucket, I’ll give you a bucket. I can pass, rebound and get stops.”
He holds offers from Louisville, Virginia Tech, and Florida Gulf Coast. He’s drawing interest from Stanford, Harvard, UCF, TCU, and Indiana.
But Lambright is keen on some schools more than others.
“I like Stanford,” Lambright said. “I like their balance of academics and athletics. I also like Indiana because I really like what I saw when I went up there.”
Lambright wants to play the point or shooting guard at the next level. So, Lambright is aiming to strengthen his overall guard skills to become a more complete prospect.
“I’m working on everything in my game,” Lambright said. “But mainly my ball-handling and passing skills.”
He’ll be playing with Impact Elite on the AAU circuit.
