The already towering 7’1, 250-pound 2019 Serbian C creates a matchup nightmare. He oozes NBA potential with his superior frame and skill set. He can stretch a defense to the perimeter and knock down long-range shots. He’s very fundamentally sound and an adept passer for his size. Koprivica has developed post moves, a soft touch around the rim, composed, and great feel for the game. He’s able to finish with both hands and rebounds exceptionally well. Defensively, he takes up space, alters shots, and cleans the boards.
Koprivica averaged 15 points, nine rebounds and three assists a game this season for University High. Which are pretty impressive numbers for just a freshman. He’s an integral part of Nike Team Florida’s 15 U team. Koprivica helped guide them to the Disney Easter Classic title.
Koprivica holds offers from Baylor, Georgia State and Murray State. He’s drawing interest from Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Virginia and West Virginia.
He described his game.
“I can play the four or the five,” Koprivica said, “I can take you outside with my jumper and bring you down low with my power and finesse.”
Koprivica highlighted his offseason plan.
‘‘I’ve been working a lot on my shooting, defense and footwork,” Koprivica said. “But I see myself playing the five at the next level.”
Koprivica has a jumbo 17-size shoe. We see Koprivica as a high major plus prospect with a sky-high ceiling. With added strength and improved ball handling, he’ll be nearly unstoppable.
