Calvary Christian Academy’s 6’10 2018 center is coming into his own and impressed at the Hoop Exchange/SourceHoops Florida Travel Team Jamboree this past weekend.
The developing center from Nigeria is still in the raw stage. But you can see the potential. He’s physically matured and a meaty 225 pounds. He’s extremely powerful in the low post area and can finish with both hands. He plays with a high motor, runs the floor well, has quick feet, and active on the glass. He’s an excellent shot-blocker and takes up space. Once Eze acquires some back to the basket moves, he will be an even more promising prospect.
Eze holds an offer from Stetson. But he’s drawing interest from high-major programs like Kansas, Maryland and FSU.
He detailed his offseason plans.
“I see myself being a center with all my physical features,” Eze said. “But I could be a power forward. I’ve been working on my jump shot, face ups and back to the basket moves.”
Eze listed some of his top choices right now.
“Right now I like Kansas and FSU,” Eze said.”They are both quality programs.”
Eze will be playing with the Florida Vipers on the AAU circuit. He’s brimming with potential.
