About Zeke
Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
Marshall had one of the better shooting games of the day when Westside matched up with Catawba Ridge in North Augusta. He had 25 Points knocking down 5 threes on 8 attempts – and did it from all different areas around the arc. Zeke has improved a lot with his shot over the years, but two things that he has always had are athleticism and defensive intensity. He sets the tone for his squad on that end of the floor and it clearly translates to putting the ball in the basket. Marshall can both spot up from the perimeter or create shots for himself off the bounce, making him difficult to gameplan against. Zeke’s length helps him on offense and defense, allowing him to make shots over defenders or force tough ones from his matchup.

Marshall was one of the most tantalizing prospects in attendance at the Poinsettia Classic. Listed at 6’5″, Zeke is a long and rangy wing that has natural skill at both rims. He made a couple of eye-opening plays including an emphatic block late in the 4th Quarter. Marshall is effective using the jump stop playing off two feet and has good touch on his jump shot. In Westside’s Semifinal Win over Sumter on Thursday, Zeke put up 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

Marshall rebounds on both ends of the floor very well along with playing the game with some toughness. Zeke played up an age group on the Grassroots Circuit and never seemed to backdown from the competition. He does a good job of staying active away from the ball and picking up deflections on the defensive end.
