Lacossade was a name new to me as he’s from Georgia, but put together an explosive display tonight in Team Swish ‘s first win of the session. Finishing with 25 points, he was aggressive all night either finishing at or above the rim, where we saw some athletic prowess and explosiveness. Defensively was where he probably made the most impact, showcasing both an ability to block shots or protect the rim, but also staying in front of smaller guards and causing them a ton of problems. Also got on the glass and was able to clean up possessions in order to help his team get one stop and push the ball against a defense that was not set.

Locossade recorded video game-like numbers last season with nearly 30.0 points per game playing for Vanguard (Lake Wales). He has the college-ready frame at 6’6, 195-pounds with plenty of time to develop his overall game. Locossade is a versatile prospect who can play inside or outside. He also flashes a decent jump shot from behind the arc and uses his quickness/physicality with controlled drives to the basket.2022 stats: 27.1 points, and 13.3 rebounds last season.

Roldjudson Lacossade, The 6-5 junior power forward has continued to improve his athleticism on the interior as he can make plays happen around the rim with and without the basketball in his hands. Lacossade is long, quick and can play multiple positions on the offensive end of the floor where he can score off the bounce as well as off the catch at a high level. Lacossade will look to improve his shooting from the perimeter this upcoming season for his game to take the next step.

The 6-5 rising junior forward is coming off a season where he led Class 1A in points per game averaging 27.1 points per game. His score first intangibles set the tone as he is a pure threat across all three scoring levels. On the defensive side he is very versatile and can be seen defending against multiple positions. Lacossade is also athletic and is very active on the boards. Expecting Lacossade to follow up with a big junior season and begin to have college coaches attracting him.
