Thompson is a big-young man already for his age. Ashton is currently playing on the gridiron for the Falcons. Thompson will be a nice physical presence down low in the paint for Head Coach Ed Scott this season.
Thompson has a soft jump hook and a good set of hands to finish around the bucket. Ashton will be a prospect in both sports in the years to come for the Falcons.

Thompson submitted just a couple of short clips for review, but from a physical standpoint, it is clear that he has the tools to be a dominant force. He is listed at 6’5″ 250 lbs and is an Offensive Lineman as well as a Basketball player at AC Flora High School with a 3.9 GPA. On the hardwood, Ashton is deceptively active for his size and will run the floor in transition or after made baskets. He is also a force on both glasses and is a good defender in the paint.

was a frontcourt menace who was hard to deal with in the painted area for Team 1. He’s got good instincts in the post as a back-to-the-basket threat who showed he can finish in traffic and through contact on numerous occasions throughout the day. He’ll be a prospect on the hardwood to keep track of just as well as a prospect to watch on the football field over the next four seasons out of A.C. Flora High.
