The talented wing has a versatile offensive game which includes the skill level to score from the perimeter and the physicality to consisnelty finish around the basket. He will be one to follow in southern Indiana this season as he has stepped into a go-to scoring role for the Panthers.

Sims certainly isn’t a new name to those in southern Indiana are who follow Prep Hoops Indiana closely, but he is still under-the-radar on a statewide basis. He had two excellent seasons at Edgewood before transferring over to Bloomington South for his junior season. Now, the physical 6’2″ guard played well on the big stage at the Run ‘N Slam over the weekend. Sims was excellent in the mid-range scoring it off of the bounce consistently and finishing at the rack as well. Rebounds well from the guard spot too. Remember the name for Indiana Red 2024.

Sims played with an out of state AAU team so he may fly under the radar to some in Indiana basketball circles. However, his talent demands some attention. He is a skilled guard that can play both on and off the ball, score it from any spot on the floor, and has good size on the perimeter. Sims jumped to #71 overall in the state from the Watch List. Look for him to really garner some attention during his junior season.
