Williams hit five 3-pointers on 10 attempts in a win over 24MD Team Daum. Williams contributed in other ways as well grabbing 4 rebounds and dishing 3 assists.

Wyatt Williams Wyatt Williams 5'11" | PG/SG Andover | 2029 State MN – The five-foot-eleven-inch 2029 Andover and Minnesota Gold guard Williams got going immediately when he came into the game for Gold hitting consecutive 3-pointers. Williams looks considerably stronger from the winter, and he’s playing the game faster while under control. His shot is quicker and faster and the ball rotation looks very crisp. In a game against Start Strong Hoops Williams hit five 3-pointers, made two big And-One’s in the 2nd half and scored over 20 to lead his team in a win.

With a strong scoring ability Williams made an impact for D1 Minnesota Gold on Saturday, leading the charge with a couple of early three-point buckets. At 5’11 Williams can impact the game on defense as well, pulling down rebounds and contesting shots as a shifty and solid defender. With his standout scoring ability and his defensive rebounding prowess Williams showed that he can be an impact performer for any team.

Williams is the type of player you cannot leave alone for a second. His shot-readiness and technical footwork beyond the arc were the best in the building. He commanded so much attention that his gravity alone created driving lanes for his teammates. When the defense eventually ran him off the line, Williams showed great maturity by taking what the defense gave him. He displayed solid facilitating skills and a high basketball IQ after putting the ball on the floor.

#146 Wyatt Williams Wyatt Williams 5'11" | PG/SG Andover | 2029 State MN – The 2029 Andover guard can play the lead ball handling guard position, and while in the games I watched Williams his jump shot didn’t fall he made it a point to get into the paint and make short shots or lay-ups. He makes the right passes, and moves the ball. Williams doesn’t have great size so working on strength and getting stronger should be his priority.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see a ton of Williams, but our other scout immediately tabbed him as a top prospect and standout to look out for from the get-go. By the information given to me, he’ll be with Howard Pulley , so you know he’s a top prospect in Minnesota.
