Whit is someone who I think will flip several games in a matter of minutes this year as he steps into an even bigger role. The all-conference performer returns after averaging 11 points and 5 rebounds. Don’t let the looks deceive you, Whit is an exceptional athlete that can rise and finish at the rim. Contact is not an issue when attacking the rim, neither is which hand he can finish with. Whit can beat a defender off the dribble, stop on a dime and pull up from 12-17 feet consistently, which is evident in his 55% career two-point percentage.

Once you get caught up in his mid-range and at the rim finishing, you then realize he’s a 37% three-point shooter as well. Although the volume is not as high as others, he’s effective when he shoots them. He also is an above average rebounder at his position and is more than capable of being a facilitator of the offense in the halfcourt. The work Whit put in is evident and if you don’t believe me, numbers don’t lie. As a sophomore, he averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds. Fast forward to this past season and he’s an all-conference performer and is coming off a career year at the high school and AAU level.

Gaddy is a really important piece to this SW15H Elite UA Rise 17u roster that is coming off of a 16u championship last season. Gaddy had a really strong season at Cardinal Gibbons this past year as the team had an incredible season, making it to the final four in the NCHSAA 7A Classification. Gaddy averaged 10.8 Points, 5.3 Rebounds, 1.6 Assists, and 0.9 Steals per game with 50/37/83 shooting splits on the season. Gaddy can play on or off the ball, is a true two way connector, and a really good rebounder for his size. He’s got some vertical pop to his game, but his ability to make outside shots off the catch, allow him to play in a multitude of lineups for this talented and deep SW15H Elite team. He’s continuing to establish himself as a no brainer next level talent as he has translatable skills, a selfless approach, and his production directly translates to winning games. Look for Gaddy to make some really timely shots for SW15H Elite this spring/summer.
