About Whit

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Shifty, quick, crafty guard who loves to win. I am able to make the catch and shoot as well as off the dribble. Can play point guard and shooting guard. Plays bigger than height and athletic. Good playmaker. And overall team player.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Does whatever it takes to win. A great teammate who shares the ball. Keeps everything positive even during bad moments. Takes on the role of being a the main scorer or role player. Does whatever the coach needs. Leads by example through words and actions.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Pickleball club, Honor roll, volunteer work at Doorway to Hope, and youth trainer/coach. Enjoys playing golf as a hobby.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I've developed the qualities of leading by example not just through my words but by my actions. As well as perseverance and not giving up.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've recovered from injury and came back to play Varsity basketball. My mom had a Brain Aneurysm when I was younger. It was really hard but I stayed with her by her side and she ultimately recovered.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college where I can balance Education and Basketball. Also where I can excel at whatever basketball level D1, 2, or 3.
