Ward was a player that I was not too familiar with going into The Expo but he almost immediately caught my eye. Again, that is why events like this are so important for exposure. When you are a true 6’8″, it is hard for people not to take notice of you. The Tri-West power forward showed really solid mobility in the paint and was one of the better big man rim runners on Sunday. Ward was active around glass and would even try to play some wing at times. He is still pretty raw heading into his senior season, but has a lot of tools you can work with at the next level.
