Wayne Harris Wayne Harris 5'9" | PG Huntington | 2024 WV is one of, if not the top, multi-sport athlete in WV.  Already a Kent St football commit, Harris continues to exceed expectations on any sports venue.  Harris on the basketball court is what you would imagine from a 5’10” 3-star WR, quick, explosive and exceptionally athletic.  Plays the point as fierce as one can on both ends and brings the energy for his team every night out.  Another WV gem that continues to show how dynamic our in-state athletes are.

Wayne Harris Wayne Harris 5'9" | PG Huntington | 2024 WV is an ellusive point guard from Huntington High School. Harris has above average handles and can get to the hole with ease. Harris is creative with the ball and makes smart decisions when on the court. He comes into the 2023/2024 season as the 8th ranked senior point guard in the state of West Virgnia. In 23 games, Harris averaged 3.4 assists per game. He tallied 79 assists in those 23 games and Huntington High School will look for Harris to continue his strong play in the 2023/2024 season.

Wayne Harris Wayne Harris 5'9" | PG Huntington | 2024 WV is a 5’9″ lightning quick point guard from Huntingon High School in West Virginia. He has an extremely quick first step which allows him to get by almost anyone. He averaged 17.5 points per game, 3.4 assists per game, 3.3 rebounds per game and 1.1 steals per game. Harris is a game changer and always a focal point of opposing coaches. He finishes at the hole well, can hit the midrange or shoot it from deep. He is a constant presence in the paint which allows him to find open teammates after the defense crashes toward him. Harris will be an exciting player to watch in 2024 for Huntington High School.

Harris made the move over to Huntington HS this past off season after playing at South Charleston HS. Wayne is a jet quick water-bug point guard. Harris is quite shifty with the ball in his hands and really likes to work the crossover to the cup. He gets into gaps and touches the paint on a regular basis it seems.

Wayne really excels in the open court with burst of speed to the bucket. Harris averaged 17.5 ppg and 3.4 assists this past season for the Highlanders. In the fall he plays slotback on the gridiron.
