Equally as comfortable and effective knocking down outside looks off the catch as a spot up shooter as he as an off the dribble shooter, Mateo put together countless performances with multiple made threes, including a game against Cinnaminson that saw him knock down 10 triples, that displayed his consistent shooting mechanics and repeatable shooting form— a true compact and quick release paired with smooth and balanced footwork and high shooting release, a constant off ball threat who thrives utilizing screens and pin downs who constantly forces closeouts and puts defenses in constant lapses.

Hammond has had a terrific season shooting the basketball this season. He is averaging about 2 threes a game looking to get any open shot opportunity he can get from behind the arc. The 5’11” guard can use his shifty handles to get around tough defenders looking to run them off the three-point line. His quick release allows him to get his shot off of most taller players looking to contest him. Hammond can heat up quickly in a game by only seeing 1 to 2 shots go down.
