6’9 2024 Ty Hurndon Ty Hurndon 6'9" | C Crandall | 2024 State TX was impressive this week vs a good West Mesquite squad. He finished wit 21 points, 14 rebounds and made a statement to anyone watching that he should be talked about amongst the elite big man in the area. Ty is super mobile for his size. He shoots the midrange efficient as well making him a tough matchup for anyone to guard. Offensively he was able to backdown and put defenders under the basket for short turn around shots or focus on the boards where he made a living off of put backs as well having a huge size advantage in this matchup. Defensively he’s very disciplined using his long wingspan to block shots at the top and avoid foul trouble while contesting. His impact is huge defensively altering everything from the free throw line down. Ty is a prospect to watch for coaches this year at Crandall High School.
