Continue ReadingNic Codie is proving to be everything a college coach could possible want from a frontcourt prospect in today’s game of basketball. Codie is a mobile, agile, bouncy, and well-balanced player. He continuously stands out as a very reliable rim runner who sprints the middle of the floor with a purpose with his guards always knowing that he’s there trailing which gives them an easy drop off passing option. The 6-foot-9 center often gets above the rim and throws it down strong with two-hands consistently when receiving the ball in the paint. Recently Codie has received 6 high major offers since the summer began with many more on the way. The potential is sky high for Nicholas Codie, he’s improving at a rapid pace and it won’t be long before he’s top 2 in the state.
The 7-foot-2 big man has been gaining a lot of traction over the past month receiving multiple scholarship offers and interest from programs throughout the power 5 conferences. Burns’s massive length makes him an excellent passing option and rim protector whenever he’s on the floor. Offensively, Burns has been an impressive mismatch in the half court due his ability to drill high release spot-up three-pointers off the drive and kick. On the defensive end of things, Trent Burns Trent Burns 7’3″ | C Good Vision Academy | 2024 State #113 Nation TX blocks and alters all type of shots in several different type of situations.
Logan Alexander Logan Alexander 6’9″ | PF C.E. King | 2025 TX is as athletic as they come and he uses this advantage as a cheat code game after game. Alexander’s timing for the block alongside his knack for leaping off the floor with ease before exploding again with a second jump is remarkable and allows Logan to shut the paint down by defending with his hands high, swatting, and pinning shots off the backboard. In the open floor this kid is a pure scoring threat above the rim who dunks it with authority often flushing finishes or catching an alley-oop over a contesting defensive man, he is so trusted that all of his guards understand that if they throw it up Logan going to get it.
Although, Ty Hurndon Ty Hurndon 6’9″ | C Crandall | 2024 State TX ‘s athletic abilities can dominant a game and put fear into his opponents, it’s his versatile scoring capabilities that stand out the most. This young man can put the ball on the floor and create a shot with his size and strength inside the arc, score with his back to the basket, and knock down the occasional pull-up jumper in the mid range particularly on the right hand side of the floor where he’s proven to be fantastic at getting to his spots, not to mention his potential to extend out beyond the high school perimeter. Defensively, Hurndon’s quick active feet and anticipation for the shot gives Alexander the capability to easily stick to his opponent and block their shot before it gets into the air.
