6’9 2024 Ty Hurndon Ty Hurndon 6’9″ | C Crandall | 2024 State TX was impressive this week vs a good West Mesquite squad. He finished wit 21 points, 14 rebounds and made a statement to anyone watching that he should be talked about amongst the elite big man in the area. Ty is super mobile for his size. He shoots the midrange efficient as well making him a tough matchup for anyone to guard. Offensively he was able to backdown and put defenders under the basket for short turn around shots or focus on the boards where he made a living off of put backs as well having a huge size advantage in this matchup. Defensively he’s very disciplined using his long wingspan to block shots at the top and avoid foul trouble while contesting. His impact is huge defensively altering everything from the free throw line down. Ty is a prospect to watch for coaches this year at Crandall High School.
2026 Xavier Green Xavier Green 5’11” | PG The Colony | 2026 State TX has quite the week starting with game winning shot at Hoopfest over Cardinal Ritter where he went 5/6 from deep. Tuesday the young Colony squad took on Heritage and Xavier picked up right where he left off. Going for 30 points pretty much getting it done however he could. He showed some nifty ball handling on his way to the basket where he continues to be one of the best finishes in the state with either hand. He played passing lanes well on the defensive side and is just overall a tough high IQ matchup for anyone when he is rollin. Make sure Xavier is on your radar all year as his impact can differ from scoring to controlling the pace and getting others involved.
2024 Peter Serunjoji Peter Serunjoji 6’5″ | SF Mansfield Summit | 2024 State TX is a guy high up on my radar as far as available prospects. He continues to to be a force and maybe even under used on the offensive side for one of the stats top 25 5a squads Mansfield Summit. He was impressive in a big matchup against Allen High School and showed why he may deserve a spot D1 roster spot against some elite competition. Peter finished with a 23 point double double and was the games leading scorer. His impact is huge, he makes all the little plays every team needs grabbing rebounds and loose balls even when matched up with bigger forwards. His footwork is nifty around the basketball and he finishes most plays making him a good pair with any true PG. He’s not fancy or flashy just a strait line good basketball player that helps his team win. Peter’s performance was elite against top ranked Allen and should be on many schools and scouts radar for the rest of the season.

2024 Keiontay Marsh Keiontay Marsh 6’1″ | PG Bryan Adams | 2024 TX is another polished 2024 that hasn’t got enough looks. He spent his summer with a talented Oakliff Stars team that had some impressive wins against shoe program teams at tournaments like Gaso and Prep Hoops. He exploded for a 27 point, 10 assist performance against Dallas Adamson and is currently averaging near 17ppg for 7-2 Bryan Adams. High IQ, high percentage…he doesn’t need alot of shots to score a 20 ball he knocks down anything open, specializing in the mid range pull up and picks and chooses his spots wisely. In addition Keiontay has been a much improved defensive player over the last year or so using his quick hands to create transition opportunities. His high level IQ and passing ability off the dribble makes him someone to have on your radar this year.
