Who are the Biggest Stock Risers?
Plano John Paul III’s standout wing-forward, Bryson McGlothin Bryson McGlothin 6'7" | SF John Paul II | 2024 State TX . This young man is by far the biggest riser of anyone in the state with a stock that skyrocketed 28 spots, from 56 to 28. McGlothin has recently earned 3 Division-1 scholarships by being the glue guy and the hardest-working player on both ends of the floor. Ty Hurndon Ty Hurndon 6'9" | C Crandall | 2024 State TX moved up from 99 to 49. The mobile high-flying power forward shows the potential to have a breakout summer leading into his senior season.
Who is the Most Notable Newcomer?
Damarion Dennis Damarion Dennis 6'0" | CG San Antonio Veteran's Memorial | 2024 State TX makes it into the top 50 ranked at 47 after a stellar junior season. Dennis has continued his success while competing with Drive Nation on the EYBL circuit averaging 13.8 points, 2.5 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game while leading his team to a winning record. Dennis gets after defensively as well, using his excellent anticipation and long reach in the passing lanes and his quick feet to slow ball-handlers down on the perimeter.
Which Watchlist Prospect Could Have a Breakout Year?
6-foot-7-inch small-forward, Sam McKinney Sam McKinney 6'6" | SF Buda Johnson | 2024 State TX out of Austin, Texas. McKinney is one of the most versatile prospects of his class, showing a consistent ability to control the glass on both ends as well as score from the inside out with a dangerous catch and shoot release from beyond the perimeter. McKinney is sure to gain an abundance of interest and offers from low and mid-major Division 1 programs going into and throughout his senior season.
