In transition, he is a nightmare for opposing defenses, pushing the pace with purpose and turning routine possessions into easy scoring opportunities. His ability to get downhill quickly and attack open space makes him one an especially dangerous guard in the open floor. In the half court he is a confident scorer who can create his own shot off the bounce and make tough plays with the ball in his hands. His jumper is bit unique, but he shoots it at a very high clip from beyond the arc and can fill it up in a hurry from deep. On the defensive end, Alusma brings energy and aggressiveness. His quick feet allow him to stay in front of opposing guards, while his active hands generate steals and create extra possessions for his team. With his combination of scoring ability, pace, and defensive activity, Alusma is a guard who consistently impacts winning on both ends of the floor.
