White will continue his basketball career on the west coast when he attends Western Washington University. A physically mature combo forward, White had a terrific season on both ends of the floor for Tabor. Offensively, he’s capable of operating out of the post or on the perimeter and is a tough cover when he gets downhill. He’s a good athlete with great positional size and his physicality allows him to finish through contact at the rim. Defensively, he has a high ceiling due to his versatility. He’s not afraid to mix it up on the glass, can guard the ball in switches on the perimeter, and is a capable shot blocker from the help position. Making the jump to D2 always comes with some growing pains, but if he continues to improve at the rate he has over the past 12 months, I’d expect he’ll make an impact sooner rather than later at WWU.
