Teake is deserving of a mention on the site. If you’re a coach, Teake is what you’re looking for in your point guard. He’s one of the few and rare true point guards in the state. A true point guard that has a mindset of controlling a game with ball-handling, court vision, pace-setting, distributing, and being a threat to put the ball in the hoop when the opportunity arises. He showed some impressive explosiveness and acceleration in the open court.

Teake Torkelson Teake Torkelson 5'10" | PG/SG Harrisburg | 2028 State SD was a cerebral point guard, possessing great poise, a high basketball IQ, excellent ball control, and toughness. As an orchestrator, Teake understands how to set up an offense and support his teammates. Operating effectively in tight spaces, he can turn the corner on any defender and even navigate precarious situations. Defensively, Teake gets up close and personal with his opponents, closing out, denying the ball, and applying intense ball pressure. His active hands also led to deflections, making him a disruptive force on the court.
