Wetzel is probably a big over qualified for “emerging” status as he is already ranked #55 in the class and considered by us at Prep Hoops Indiana as one of the top big men in the Class of 2027. However, Wetzel delivered a double-double in a big win to start the season for Heritage Hills High School. The 6’6″ center finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds in the Patriots 75-51 win over North Harrison. Wetzel also posted 23 points and 16 rebounds in a scrimmage against New Albany at the end of last week.
