Sylas is one of the most unique players in the entire state. He has a very long wingspan which helps him a lot on the defensive end. He is extremely skilled on offense. He can score at all 3 levels and stretches out the floor very nicely for the team. Williams is a monster on the glass as well, having multiple 15-10 rebound games this year. Against Kamiak, he recorded 25 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks on the night.

His first two games of the year were 27 and 12 and 30 and 14 rebounds. The latter in a two-point win over Mark Morris on 11-13 from the field and 6-8 from the line. He is stepping up even bigger this year and proving that he belongs as one of the best players in the state. He is active, has some great moves in the paint, and can step out and hit the jumper. He is a high-motor player who will get after it and rebounds extremely well.

Sylas is an overall very skilled player and he’s still improving. He improved a big amount in all assets of his game since the last season ended. Against Mount Tahoma he has a big double-double putting up 18 points and pulling down 16 rebounds. I think he’s going to have a very dominant senior season.

The Jackson forward has been putting up monster numbers this summer, showing he can explode for big scoring games and dominate the glass. That should continue into the high school season as he’ll be counted on to manufacture a lot of opportunities for the Timberwolves. He’s a guy capable of dropping 30 points or grabbing 20 rebounds but will also be a playmaker from the middle this year.

Previous Rank: #33 — Over the last year, Williams has continued to surge into a Division-1 level type prospect. He’s one of the most versatile players in his class at 6’6. He is truly position-less. He has an old school face-up game with the speed to spin past multiple defenders in the paint. He’s a sneaky ballhandler and passer with the ability to finish at the rim with either hand, and an absolute rebound hawk. He’s an easy early favorite for the 4A Wesco MVP after averaging 18ppg and 14 rpg per outing last season.

No. 2 | Williams is a top-level rebounder and scorer inside who will put up big numbers in the Wesco 4A next season. His game is defined by his great hands. He has a phenomenal ability to tip rebounds up, away from defenders, and into his own hands even in the midst of swarms of opposing players. When around the hoop, Williams is a high-proficiency scorer with a multitude of moves and the ability to hit from all kinds of angles and distances. He had a huge summer and will look to carry that momentum into the high school season.
