Here’s just a handful of top performances that I have watched live, been sent by the player, or seen on Twitter. There are MANY other players who have stood out that I missed as well. Here’s some more of Devin’s Standouts!
Sylas is one of the most unique players in the entire state. He has a very long wingspan which helps him a lot on the defensive end. He is extremely skilled on offense. He can score at all 3 levels and stretches out the floor very nicely for the team. Williams is a monster on the glass as well, having multiple 15-10 rebound games this year. Against Kamiak, he recorded 25 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks on the night.
As I mentioned in my last article, Jeremiah’s game has grown so much. He is becoming a top player within in class in the state of Washington. With his shot starting to fall and stretching out the floor for his team, it opens up more for everyone on the court. Against Mount Baker he dropped 25 points, pulled down 16 rebounds and recorded 3 blocks on the defensive end.
Pierre is a special player on the court. He can score at all 3 levels and plays defense at a high level. Josiah spent the summer with BFL but made the switch back to Kamiak before the season started and he is showing why he made the right choice! Josiah scored 40 points against North Creek, scoring over half of his teams total points.
Highlights
Aidan is a big body player standing at 6’6″ and has been playing phenomenal for Quincy so far. His game has taken the next step and he looks extremely comfortable with the ball in his hands. The junior still has next year to continue to grow his game, so I’m excited to see how much more skilled he will be. Against Royal in a 74-56 tea win, Aidan dropped 50 points for a career high night.
Canales and 2023 guard Coston Parcher Coston Parcher 6’0″ | PG Lynden | 2023 State WA combine for one of the top guard-wing combinations within the state. Canales has the ability to take over any game and keep control of the game, which is why he is a step ahead of most players within the class and even his conference. Against Mount Vernon he scored 33 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. He knows how to get to his spots, which leads to many easy buckets if the defender isn’t playing close defense.
