About Stan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

6'1 Shooting Guard attending Great Crossing High School (class '28). I like to shoot from deep but also have the ability to create shots inside the paint and get to the rim and finish. I can throw my defender off by slowing up my dribble and then fast pace to the rim, easily drawing fouls. As a point guard, I create space which opens up opportunities for my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a highly focused and competitive athlete. I stay composed in intense situations with the mindset that every game is a battle. I thrive under pressure and use that to push myself and my teammates in the best way. It is important to me to be in the game, making an impact. Although I am highly focused, I enjoy playing on teams that are unselfish and have a team mindset.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have played in club AAU basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I serve as a leader in my school by using my influence as an athlete to help others make good decisions. I like to visit elementary and middle schools to talk to younger kids about strong decision making and leadership.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that I can be useful to. It is important to me to have an impact on my team. I want my skills and leadership to be utilized. I excel with coaches who believe in me and push me to the be the very best I can be.
