Shay is a talented prospect who provides the length and size of a post with the skills of a guard. The best guard skill he provides is his ability to stretch the floor with deep threes. He is a good shooter who can shoot it off the dribble, re-locates, and even step-back style threes. He can handle the ball well enough to set up his shots, which combined with his 6’7 length makes him a tough match-up. He is also good at getting to the basket with very few dribbles and long strides. He can finish with some big-time dunks when he gets there. He finished the scrimmage with Pac Xpress scoring around 14 points, including a couple of deep threes from NBA range. I believe he is an unsigned senior with a few offers.
