The 6-foot-6 guard has plenty of scoring ability. He’s strong, long, can get to the hoop or work in the mid-range. Brown stands out for the smoothness to his game and his ability to break down defenders with his dribble.
Raymond is a shot-blocking, athletic forward who brings versatility to the offensive end. He’s shown a good stroke out to 3-point at times and has the length and athleticism to be a real factor around the rim.
Toughness is one of the first things that comes to mind with Bloomfield. He’s asked to play a big role defensively for his Mariner squad, but also has the moves and footwork to put up big scoring numbers. He’s a poised player with a polished offensive profile.
Conner had a big impact inside for the Chargers this year, defending the rim, playing solid post defense, and also able to make plays in the paint on offense. He has a nice shooting touch around the paint and can stretch the floot at times as well.
McGough is a gritty forward with a quick jump that helps him block shots and get his own off under tight defense. He has good strength and footwork that helps him work well from the post and short corner.
Highlights
The Auburn Mountainview point man is a lightning quick player who can knife inside and score in a hurry. The 5-foot-9 guard is a tough finisher in traffic, a scoring threat from outside, and brings a lot of energy to the floor.
The 3A PCL MVP, Boston is a strong and technical forward who rarely misses at the rim and has a strong dribble that allows him to work from further out too. He shows good touch on the jumper and is able to get to his spots and score.
Moody is a long wing who finishes with strength at the rim and can sprinkle in some threes as well. He plays tough defense and makes things happen jumping passing lanes and using his length and quickness to disrupt opposing offenses.
Soliday is a solid contributor and able to play both guard spots, facilitating and scoring the ball. He has a good stroke from outside but also has good size and can finish in the paint too. He has helped lead Davenport to the number one seed in the 2B tournament.
Highlights
Kelly was one of the top rebounders in the 2B this year and did a little bit of everything for his Cle Elum squad. He’s tough around the rim, can knock down the jumper out to 15-feet, and also does a little bit of rim defending.
Highlights
The Borderites’ guard is a long player who takes advantage of smaller guards with strong finishing at the rim and tough defense from the perimeter to the paint. He can shoot it a little bit too and was key leading Blaine to an upset over the 2-seed Zillah Leopards in round one of the 1A tournament.
Brannon is a 6-foot-5 athlete from Eatonville who really excels on the defensive end, blocking shots at the rim, on jump shots, and guarding a variety of positions. He uses that athleticism to finish high at the rim too and can play from the frontcourt or the wings.
Robideau is a valuable depth piece for Rainier Beach. He does a little bit of everything; rebounding, working for good position off-ball, and staying active around the paint to win hustle plays and second chance points. He has a decent shot from mid-range too and can fit into a lot of different lineups.
Cornett is a speedy guard who can slice to the rim, slow down opposing point guards with his defense, and looks to push the pace at any opportunity. He’s another guy that fills out a deep bench for a potential title-bound team in Garfield.
Garza led Grandview to an impressive regular season that ended just short of a state tournament bid. He’s a smart guard who attacks defenses with speed and patience. He can shoot it some but really thrives attacking defenses inside and forcing defenders to think quick.
Highlights
The Toppenish forward is a plus defender who can guard from the blocks to the wings and is as opportunistic as they come, looking for passing lanes to jump and shots to block. He has some good offensive ability too, and when his jumper is hitting, is a tough matchup around the paint.
Tichenor has had some big games for Timberline this year as a guy who can stretch the floor, apply pressure on the ball, and serve at a facilitator racking up the assists. He helped the Blazers to an undefeated regular season in league play and has them staring down a matchup with Bellevue at the Tacoma Dome tomorrow evening.
