Montogue made his impact felt on Day 2 for Evo without needing touches. He was the one who was anchoring possessions with his activity and size that kept the offense from going inside and having their way. Sebastian appears to be a physical defender with length. He rotated early and consistently met plays at the rim, stacking multiple blocks off positioning rather than gambling on defense. What I liked is how he communicates, covers ground, and plays with defensive intent. His ability to protect the paint and clean up mistakes by teammates gave his team a reliable defensive identity. He was solid on Day 2.

Montague really started to put himself on the map with his play this past weekend. An absolute blast to watch and full of energy, effort, and hustle from the opening tip. He did all the little things that coaches love, especially fighting for extra possessions on the offensive glass. Montague was a force in transition too, grabbing boards and immediately pushing the pace, getting his team up the floor and into scoring opportunities in a flash. What really stood out, though, was the confidence he had in his shot. He wasn’t shy about pulling the trigger and knocked down some big ones. Montague played like someone who’s taking that next step
