O’Donnell is under the radar as he did not have a huge role last season but he’s now catapulted into a position where a ton will be asked of him and he will have a significant role. Smoky Hill has an entirely new team and he’s one of those players who benefits. He’s a player who will have to handle pressure when the ball comes to him, has to space the floor with shooting and score at times. He’ll have to be a steady presence and be the type of guard that demands more attention. Excited to see how he evolves.

O’Donnell is a player who did not have a huge scoring day but he impressed with his poise and basketball IQ. He played the game the right way, worked hard ,and let plays develop naturally despite other guards getting sped up around him. His off-ball movement created opportunities, and while he didn’t take many shots, his presence spaced the floor because of his reputation as a shooter. He made the smart decisions, kept his team steady, and proved to be a reliable, unselfish contributor that I want to see more of.
