Seawright is a high-level shooter with deep range and the confidence to fire from anywhere on the floor. One of his standout performances came early in the season against Oldham County when he went 6-for-10 from beyond the arc.

A big time shooter, Seawright is knocking down 40% of his threes this season and averaging just shy of 20 points on the season. Not just a shooter, Samuel is capable of getting downhill and attacking the bucket. He’s a player that in state schools should covet.

Samuel had one of the most impressive shooting performances I’ve seen so far this season. Making a move up ten spots from 74th to 64th in this update, Seawright has had to wait his turn to get the majority of the shots for the Bears and should have a really big season as a Junior. Ultimately, I think Samuel can and will play college basketball thanks to his skill set.

Seawright is another player whose name I hadn’t seen or heard before Saturday but I left impressed with the Spencer County guard. Samuel showed that he can knock down shots from range with comfort but also flashed some advanced playmaking over the course of the day. He’s a name to track in the 8th region for sure.
